Al₂O₃/MeSO₃H (AMA) a Useful System for Direct Sulfonylation of Phenols with p-Toluenesulfonic Acid

�A useful method for direct sulfonylation of phenols with p-toluenesulfonic acid in the presence of Al2O3/MeSO3H system has been described.
